I have written before on how we know the unborn are persons from fertilization. But now I’d like to address how we know the unborn are biological members of our species from fertilization. This is a basic, undeniable fact of science and yet I still encounter many people who deny this reality. Before you can […]…
"Kindly"? Have you watched al Qaeda beheading Daniel Pearl? Nick Berg? "Kindly"? Islamic savages.
To stop the latest of the Brave New World movements, we need a cacophony of resistance. Luckily, it is not just pro-lifers that are sounding the alarm about three-parent IVF, also called mitochondrial replacement (MR).
People from all sides are voicing their concerns about the ethics and safety of this technique where a donor egg’s nucleus is removed and replaced with the nucleus of a woman with mitochondrial disease. That genetically-engineered egg is then fertilized with sperm creating an embryo that has genetic material from three persons, the mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA) from the donor, and nuclear DNA contributed by the parents.
Last week the news broke of yet another forced abortion in China. In an interview with the UK’s Sky News, Liu Xinwen and her husband Zhou Guoquing revealed that their home was invaded by 20 officials from the Shandong Family Planning Committee who held down Mr. Zhou while his wife was pulled from her bed and taken to a hospital where she was forcibly aborted at six months of pregnancy.

A study published last week has shown that adult stem cells derived from ethical sources can be used to create living tissues that imitate the developing human brain. In their findings, published in the science journal Nature, researchers asserted that, by using human stem cells derived from skin cells, they were able to assemble brain-like pieces of living tissue. These stem cells could prove to be an invaluable resource for the study and treatment of various neuro-developmental disorders.
Your right to defend your life and the lives of your loved ones when faced with a deadly threat is not bestowed on you by government. Indeed, self defense is the most fundamental of all human rights, and it’s the duty of our elected officials to preserve it.
New York, NY (CFAM/LifeNews) — European ministers disappointed abortion groups last month when they failed to say that abortion is a human right. They cited lack of consensus in Europe.
Forty-seven European ministers were unable to answer two direct questions about abortion. The ministers represent each of the 47 nations of the Council of Europe, Europe’s principal human rights institution.
Should the Council promote abortion? Is abortion a human right under the European Convention on Human Rights?
