Last week I finally got to watch the acclaimed film 12 Years a Slave, which tells the story of Solomon Northup, a free black man from upstate New York, who was kidnapped and sold into slavery in Louisiana. It’s a harrowing and unflinching film that doesn’t spare the viewer – and rightly so. A scene […]…
Second Amendment advocates won a major victory on Thursday when the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals ruled that the individual right to bear arms applies outside the home.Specifically, the court said that San Diego’s restrictive concealed carry laws that require citizens to prove a need to defend themselves are unconstitutional….
While President Barack Obama defended Obamacare, which has taxpayer-funding of abortion and has rationed health care already by canceling Americans’ health care plans, Congresswoman Cathy McMorris Rodgers gave a compassionate pro-life response. Rodgers, representing the State of Washington, is another high-profile mother in the political real…
French Soccer Player Gives Nazi-Like Salute After Goal. Part of His Defense? Obama Did It, Too. (See the Pictures)
“…a downward Nazi salute with an obscene gesture meaning ‘up yours.’”
It’s not commonly known that the RU 486 abortion drug process can be reversed if a mother changes her mind about the abortion in time. However, a protocol has already been developed for helping women who changed their minds about going through with a multi-day second-trimester abortion after it’s been started. The process, which involve…
For many Alaskans it was an unimaginable tragedy. An Eagle River woman allegedly gave birth to a baby girl, wrapped her in a towel, and left her to die under a bush in a public park. The Universalist Church has come under criticism for years for taking a strongly pro-abortion position. That criticism will only deepen thanks to a local church in Albion, New York bestowing a humanitarian award on the nation’s biggest abortion business.
The Pullman Memorial Universalist Church in Albion presented its 2013 Humanitarian Award to Planned Parenthood of Albion on Sunday. What inspired Ana Marie Cox, political columnist for the Guardian U.S., to wax poetic on Obamacare today? It looks like it was this tweet from Sen. Ted Cruz. Remember that President Obama defended the “glitches” that continue to plague the Obamacare website by comparing them to the rollout of Apple’s (relatively seamless) new iPhone and iOS 7 operating system.
Kim Cruickshanks had six miscarriages of babies who did not survive past the twelfth week of pregnancy, but she was determined that her unborn baby Daisy would make it.
Cruickshanks suffers from a condition known as polycystic ovary syndrome, that contributed to the miscarriages. But when Daisy got past the 12 week mark, she did everything she could to care for her baby.
Washington, D.C., resident Shavonnte Taylor wasn’t due to give birth for more than two weeks, but her baby boy wasn’t going to wait another moment. A little after 10:30 a.m. Thursday morning in a dark and likely crowded L’Enfant Metro rail station next to a broken escalator, she and at least a dozen bystanders witnessed the miracle of birth.
Kate, the Duchess of Cambridge, gave her husband Prince William a son Monday after a highly anticipated — and highly publicized — pregnancy and labor for the future heir to the English throne.
Bingo. But not to lapdogs who are too busy begging for an extra bowl of kibble.
Yep. Remember, the media turned Romney’s statement on Benghazi into a date that will live in infamy.
The fish wrap of record finally promoted the IRS’ targeting of conservatives to the first page, after attempting to bury it.
