But Iran most certainly considers Israel to be its enemy. Meanwhile, Iran presses ahead with uranium enrichment technology. This week, Iran refused to recognize Israel at U.N. Peres has always been so left and so conceited as to believe that if he says something, it is so. It’s delusional and dangerous. Iran has repeatedly vowed to wipe Israel off …
The Becket Fund for Religious Liberty today filed a lawsuit on behalf of Belmont Abbey College against the Obama administration, citing the HHS mandate requiring the college to provide insurance coverage including contraception, sterilization, and abortion-inducing drugs.
Pro-choice activists are up in arms over the new law in Texas that requires abortionists to have admitting privileges at local hospitals. Because so few abortionists in Texas are able to get these admitting privileges, abortion clinics are suspending operations.
One pro-choice website said the following:
“An admitting privileges law is a TRAP (Targeted Regulation of Abortion Providers) law. The main intent of TRAP laws is to stop abortion through legislation that doesn’t outright make abortion illegal—because that would be unconstitutional and unenforceable—but instead through forcing clinics to close. TRAP laws tend to place unnecessary burdens and stigmas on abortion providers.”
Delaware Right to Life has erected six billboards this autumn, one directly across the street from the Wilmington Planned Parenthood.
The billboards give a simple but sobering message to abortion clinic workers: “Don’t let your job put you in prison.”
This message is ripe in a state where two former Planned Parenthood employees testified earlier this year about health violations and inappropriate behavior by an abortionist they observed at their clinics.
We don’t have to show you any stinkin’ #FamousObamaMovieQuotes, but with hundreds of them trending on Twitter tonight, we thought it would make for some good Saturday entertainment.
There was a time when the shoulder holster seemed to be required equipment for all police detectives, P.I.’s, sleuths and all sorts of plainclothes operatives. In recent times it has taken a back seat to the various other carry methods, especially for the armed citizen. In truth, the shoulder rig is not as fast as a good holster worn on the strong-side hip, and the straps of the unit can often cause fatigue to the shoulder muscles after a long day of wearing a heavy handgun. However, it should not be overlooked by today’s handgunners, as it may be just the ticket for certain defensive carry situations.
Last week NRL News Today ran a series of stories that illustrate (yet again) the capacity of pro-abortionists to shamelessly say anything. As I re-read the stories this morning, they reminded me of a 776-word-long op-ed that appeared a while back in the New York Times written by Susan Heath. In it we see Heath pining for the “good old days.”

Hobby Lobby President Apologizes, Pledges to Carry Jewish Holiday Items After Blogger Claims Worker Said They Don’t ‘Cater to You People’
In an interview with the Associated Press, company president Steve Green said that stores near large Jewish populations in New York and New Jersey will likely soon begin carrying various items starting this November.
“We do not have any problems selling items that celebrate Jewish holidays,” Green said. “We have in the past and have decided we would try it again in some of the markets where we have Jewish population.”
We have a new feature on the New Wave Feminists Facebook page: every Friday is #FionaFriday. Our fearless leader Destiny adds a new quote to Fiona the Feminist Fetus’s little fetal thought bubble, and so far it has provoked a lot of discussion. And a lot of trolls.
The NWF page is intended as an online meeting place for the like-minded (pro-life feminists), rather than a place where we have to constantly defend our beliefs from a barrage of angry fauxminists. We get enough of that in real life.
Recently, the Christian Science Monitor published an op-ed by Elizabeth Jahr, in which she asserts “pro-life groups funnel tremendous resources into a legal war against abortion in the US without providing adequate practical support for women to maintain pregnancies. Yet not being able to afford a child is one of the main reasons women have abortions.”
In an article deemed “news” by Yahoo!, a young woman by the name of Elizabeth Jahr explained to her readers that, in reality, the pro-life movement does not really protect the unborn. Jahr argued that the bulk of pro-life work goes towards legislating abortion out of existence, while pro-lifers ignorantly turn a blind eye to the fact that women experiencing what they perceive to be crisis pregnancies do not have the resources to carry out the alternative, that is, carrying their child to term.
We have to give credit to former Obama car czar Steve Rattner for stating his argument so honestly.
Alas, we couldn’t find a single Twitter user who agreed:
