Hobby Lobby President Apologizes, Pledges to Carry Jewish Holiday Items After Blogger Claims Worker Said They Don’t ‘Cater to You People’
In an interview with the Associated Press, company president Steve Green said that stores near large Jewish populations in New York and New Jersey will likely soon begin carrying various items starting this November.
“We do not have any problems selling items that celebrate Jewish holidays,” Green said. “We have in the past and have decided we would try it again in some of the markets where we have Jewish population.”
‘Leaked’ U.N. Climate Change Report Says Global Warming Claims ‘Exaggerated’ — but Scientists Are Fighting Back
A U.K. tabloid newspaper claimed to have a leaked, final copy of the a U.N. climate change report, saying it revealed the panel was rolling back “exaggerated” claims of global warming. But a scientist is not only refuting the claims but also the alleged “leak” of the report as well.
“…a leak is actually not the most appropriate term here, because just about anyone could sign up and receive the early draft” of the report, John Cook, with the Global Change Institute at the University of Queensland, told Radio Australia.

In announcing the closure of two Colorado centers yesterday, the Planned Parenthood of the Rocky Mountains abortion business claimed it does not receive taxpayer funds. That claim is false.

Texas Sen. Ted Cruz called for his colleagues to defund Obamacare in a floor speech today, citing the fear that businesses will cut employees’ hours rather than face the crushing expense of implementing the mandates of the Affordable Care Act. The White House was quick to respond, issuing a graphic to assure followers that restaurant employees are working more hours. At least, there’s no evidence to prove that they’re working fewer hours — yet.
