Mashface is the bastard child of a 3D software/web development company in Montréal called Xtranormal, Inc. It was an awesome idea that didn’t fit in with what we were trying to do, but it was so awesome we decided to do it anyway, you know, to dilute our focus. But we pulled it off.

Mashface is supposed to be fun. We think it’s a bloody riot. And from our P.O.V. the point is to get all kinds of traffic in the over-extended UGC/social networking scene and drive that traffic to Xtranormal’s flagship site, www.xtranormal.com.

There’s some cool stuff over there. You can make movies (so it’s kinda like Mashface), but you make movies with 3D actors and sets of your choice. It’s super-easy, too. Now, there are all kind of companies out there yamming it up about how easy their software is. But unlike those other companies we’re not lying. It is easy. Like way easier than MashFace.
