Google to launch browser

A beta version of the Google browser, called Chrome, will be available for download by Windows computer users in more than 100 countries.

One feature will allow users to run Web-based applications independently, which means it won’t crash the browser.

Chrome will be an open-source product, so anyone can modify the software code and add features.

Chrome, which Google says was built from scratch, has been in the works for two years.

Some users found out about the new browser through a comic book that was sent out by Google and an announcement was posted on google’s blog.
